NASA Launches Endeavour On Fifth Last Shuttle MissionCape Canaveral, Florida (AFP) Feb 8, 2010 The US space shuttle Endeavour and its crew of six astronauts blasted into space on a mission to deliver a module dubbed Tranquility to the International Space Station. Endeavour lifted takeoff at 4:14 am (0914 GMT) from the Kennedy Space Center here after a launch planned for Sunday was aborted due to heavy cloud cover over Cape Canaveral. George Diller, a spokesman for NASA said before launch the agency was cautiously optimistic that the weather would be better Monday morning.
