A new experiment designed to reveal the origin and structure of the universe has reached its last stop on Earth before it's set to ride into orbit aboard space shuttle Endeavour early next year. Astronauts start third spacewalk to fix ISS cooling pump

Astronauts from the International Space Station on Monday embarked on a third spacewalk to fix the orbiting station's busted cooling system, NASA said. Spacewalkers Doug Wheelock and Tracy Caldwell Dyson began their work on installing a spare ammonia pump module on the ISS at 6:20 am (1020 GMT) the US space agency said. A six-legged robot that may one day walk on the surface of the moon or Mars stretched it legs during a test stroll in a Southern California park, officials say.
