MDA to extend its services to support Canadarm2 and Dextre for ISS
Richmond, Canada (SPX) Nov 30, 2011
MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has received contracts worth CA$4.2 million from NASA's Johnson Space Center to extend its support of the Robotic Work Station that controls Canadarm2 and Dextre on the ISS. MDA will provide on-going sustaining engineering services, and provide new capabilities that will assist in the berthing of unmanned vehicles visiting the space station.
