Arvidson To Be Participating Scientist on New Mars RoverSt. Louis MO (SPX) Dec 28, 2011 NASA has announced that Raymond E. Arvidson, PhD, the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, has been selected to be a participating scientist on the Mars Science Laboratory, a mission to land and operate a rover named Curiosity on the surface of Mars.
