RoboForce Secures 10 Million for AI Powered Robotics in Solar and Space Industries

RoboForce, a leader in advanced AI-driven robotics, has announced the successful close of a $10 million early-stage funding round. Notable investors include Nobel Laureate Myron Scholes, Softbank VC co-founder Gary Rieschel, and Carnegie Mellon University. The funding positions RoboForce to accelerate its deployment of AI-powered robotic labor systems, dubbed "Robo-Labor," in 2025.

The company's Robo-Labor technology aims to address critical labor shortages in challenging and hazardous work environments. Designed for precision and versatility, RoboForce's robots are capable of fine motor tasks such as picking, pressing, and assembling with 1mm accuracy. These capabilities are complemented by features like all-terrain mobility, advanced manipulation, communication, and adherence to safety protocols. The technology positions RoboForce as a key innovator in the emerging field of AI Robotics.

RoboForce's initial focus is on industries including solar energy, space exploration, manufacturing, and mining-sectors often plagued by labor shortages due to harsh working conditions and safety risks. The U.S. Bureau of Labor identifies these industries as among the most impacted by work-related injuries and reduced labor availability. RoboForce's early customers, primarily large-scale solar developers, face challenges in recruiting skilled workers for remote and high-temperature project sites. By integrating robots capable of operating under extreme environmental conditions, RoboForce enables these developers to complete projects faster, stay on schedule, and reduce costs, all while advancing sustainability and renewable energy goals.
