SRA International is to help the U.S. Army and other agencies with identification and tracking information on the movement of personnel, equipment and cargo.
The contract received -- Automatic Identification Technology V -- is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award issued the U.S. Army Product Director, Automated Movement and Identification Solutions.
The contract carries a ceiling value of $181 million. SRA, an IT and professional services company, is one of three prime contractors to receive it.
"SRA is proud to continue its support for the important mission of the U.S. Army PD AMIS programs," said George Batsakis, executive vice president of SRA's National Security Group. "As a prime contractor supporting the pRFID and AIT contract vehicles, we look forward to collaborating with PD AMIS on the creation of new solutions that enable comprehensive tracking of the US military's assets, resources, and inventory."
