Shuttle Endeavour docks with International Space Station

The US space shuttle Endeavour docked on schedule Wednesday with the orbiting International Space Station, NASA announced. At 0506 GMT Endeavour Commander George Zamka backed the space shuttle "into pressurized mating adapter number 2 on the International Space Station's Harmony node," NASA said in a statement. The launch of the US space shuttle Endeavour was delayed by 24 hours early Sunday due to bad weather over the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA officials said.
