Chang'e-2 Heads For Moon
Beijing, China (XNA) Oct 04, 2010
China's second unmanned lunar probe, Chang'e-2, was maneuvered to correct its trajectory on the earth-moon transfer orbit Saturday. Scientists successfully activated the attitude control engines on Chang'e-2 and trimmed the satellite for the first time on its journey, according to a flight control official in Beijing. Moon's Craters Give New Clues To Early Solar System Bombardment
Providence RI (SPX) Sep 20, 2010

The dimples and divots on its surface are testament that our satellite has withstood a barrage of impacts from comets, asteroids and other space matter throughout much of its history. Because the geological record of that pummeling remains largely intact, scientists have leaned on the moon to reconstruct the chaotic ear ... more
