Japan on Friday launched its first unmanned cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station, aiming for a share of space transport after the retirement of the US space shuttle fleet next year.     Two US astronauts on Wednesday completed the first of three spacewalks scheduled for the space shuttle Discovery's nine-day mission at the ISS, removing a massive coolant tank.
